Set
up the elevating mechanism.
Fit
the lower rods in fist.
Then
the upper ones
Finally
apply the bases.
Turn
the patient to one side and place the mattress undrneath.
Turn
the patient to the other side and unfold the mattress.
Let
the patient lye on his/her back and make sure that the mattress is properly
placed under the body.
Inflate
the mattress so that it becomes rigid. (If you are in a hospital, use
the hospital air system. Otherwise use an air compressor or a foot-driven
air pump).
Make
sure once more that the patient is lying comfortably on the air mattress.
Place
the device over the patient.
Connect
the straps.
Elevate
the mattress a couple of inches above the bed and...
