ELEVATED JVP
This
is a very important clinical sign that must never be overlooked during
the clinical examination. It is suggestive of fluid overload and right
heart failure.
Closer
view of the photograph. This 56-year-old diabetic patient called 1051
for acute shortness of breath.
He had orthopnoea; he weighted 140kg and had widespread subcutaneous edemata.
Over his lower limbs he had superficial ulcerations, which were producing
serous discharge.
He was transferred to the hospital in order to have a large amount of
fluid removed with hemodialysis.
